The Barton Street Library is a welcome spot in the community. You can access computers, pick up the newest DVDs, and get your next great read.
In response to the pandemic, the library now also offer vaccine clinics on-site right in the neighbourhood, as well as free printing and lamination services for proof of vaccination/QR codes.

Starting February 18, Hamilton kids can explore the library and the city, just in time for Family Day. HPL/HSR/Presto will launch a kids Presto card program, offering a free Presto card to ride the HSR for Hamilton children 6-12.
Parents/guardians simply stop by any branch, register the child for a Hamilton Public Library card and get a Presto card.
