The Barton Library is currently showcasing the work of local artist Niv Shimshon.Shimshon’s large-format photographs seek to document residents of Hamilton, Ontario, in relation to their physical and social geographies to capture a sense of the city in flux and document Canadian identity in the 21st century.
A recipient of the 2020 LensCulture Critics Choice Awards, we are honoured to be featuring Shimshon’s work in our branch.
