All clinics are for people ages 5 and older. Walk-ins are welcome for 1st, 2nd and 3rd doses.
You can also print and laminate your proof of vaccination at any branch for free.

Throughout the pandemic the Barton and Red Hill branches of the Hamilton Public Library have been hosting COVID-19 vaccination clinics, in partnership with Hamilton Public Health, REFUGE Newcomer Health, and the Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion.

Now we are excited to be the recipients of a grant from the City of Hamilton to support vaccine clinic outreach to Black, racialized/people of colour, and Indigenous community members, with a special focus on pregnant people and youth. As you are likely aware, vaccination rates are lower for these folks in our community.

The grant will allow us to increase promotion of the clinics, and to offer incentives like free books (because we love reading!) and prize draws for participants. The clinics will run Saturdays at Barton and Wednesdays at Red Hill from now until the end of the summer.

Working together we can get more of our neighbours vaccinated and keep our communities healthy!

Barton Library’s hours are 9 am to 7pm Monday-Thursday, 9am to 6pm Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays.
