Welcome to your home decor vintage shopping experience, filled with an array of smartly priced cool pieces that include shelving units, accent chairs, and abstract display art. I had the chance to talk with the owner Vannessa R about all things vintage.

Our current business climate during our covid response timeline is that the value of in-person shopping is still relevant but it has changed. Many vintage dealers and other businesses have moved to selling exclusively online. Vanessa still believes in the value of in-person shopping as an opportunity for engagement and exploration into your community. The shopping hub of Ottawa Street as a destination strip that provides value to the community for locals and outsiders to come together and explore.

They have seen a surge in local and global interest in the environmental impact of the products we consume. Fast fashion, food, and transportation are a few areas that have been hot topics. Home decor and furniture are also becoming a part of the conversation. Many modern products are not made to last, are made overseas, and are made from materials that are not sustainable. Buying vintage furniture helps to combat these issues by supporting local businesses, keeping items out of landfills, and reducing the consumption of natural resources.

The value of a curated vintage shop is to help consumers visualize the functionality of products that will be a new addition to their living space and provide a place of inspiration.
