Her lyrics and flow create a vibe and as the next emerging rhyme slayer on the block, What more can I say than…she belongs on your playlist.
Her name is Tea Fannie.
I had the chance to talk with her at a local hangout in Brantford, On.
Tell us a bit about yourself?
My journey begins in Edmonton, Alberta. as an army kid. We moved around a lot.
What does music mean to you?
Music and poetry have always been reflections of my experience.
What are some of your musical influences?
Growing up my musical taste varied between Kenny Rogers and Whitney Houston. As I got older and could choose my musical faves they included Green day, Nas, and Amerie.
How’s your summer so far?
This summer has been filled with road trips in Ontario that include shows in Toronto, and surrounding areas.
Can you tell us a bit about your new single?
Yes. Its called YWICM ( you wish I cared more )
It premiered on the CBC radio station the block on June 23/22
