I confirm that I will attend the meeting with Jim Long the Chancellor of Temporal Affairs of the Roman Catholic Diocese Hamilton at his office Oct 4 at 11:30 am.
It is unfortunate Councilor Nann will not attend. After all it was Ward 3 Office that selected the date. Since this is a fact collecting mission, regarding the future of Old Cathedral Boys School, her presence does not appear necessary at this stage.
We found interesting the inclusion in the meeting of Housing Services Division and Good Shepherd since the subject at hand is the potential use of OCBS after the shelter decommission date March 31 2023.

I understand your concern related to the comment deadline as a result of the Public Notice sign posting being erected too far from the property line. It is still very early in the review of this application and the purpose of the comment deadline was to receive as many public comments as early in the process as possible but not to restrict further public comments throughout the process.
The public notice sign will be updated once a public meeting has been scheduled for this application, 20 days in advance of the public meeting in accordance with the Planning Act. In addition, notice will be sent to all property owners within 120 metres of the subject lands just like the original public notice.
I will continue to communicate to any residents that comments will still be accepted and included in the future staff report. Please let me know if you would like any additional information about the proposal and if there is any specific timeline you need to provide your comments on this application.
