Josie Angelini

As a student in the HWCDSB, I attended school from kindergarten to grade 13 in Wards 3 & 4. I taught at Cathedral High School for over 30 years and during my time there I gained valuable experience, knowledge and insight working with students and communicating with their parents/guardians to achieve academic success. I believe my first- hand experiences in Ward 3 & 4 give me an important understanding of the issues facing our community.

I am committed to Ward 3 & 4 and dedicated to working hard for our community. I have spent most of my life (44 years) as a teacher and student, but now I wish to serve our community as your Catholic School Board Trustee for Ward 3 & 4.

I hope I can count on your support in this coming election. Please visit me on social media Instagram and Twitter through my username @josie_angelini

Shane Cunningham ~ Candidate Public School Trustee

My name is Shane (she/her) and I’m running in this year’s municipal elections as your Ward 4 Public School Board Trustee. As a proud resident of Ward 4, and mother of three (two of whom are school-aged – in French Immersion & FDK), I’m committed to ensuring that your voices are heard so that our schools meet the diverse needs of our communities.

My professional experience in curriculum development and student support, coupled with my work in autism services provincially, has equipped me with the skills to find solutions to complex and systems-level issues through a person-centred lens. I believe our schools are places where academic excellence can be achieved and are also places where everyone has the right to feel safe, build confidence and grow as citizens of the world. I’d sincerely appreciate your vote! You can find me on Instagram at @shane.cunninghamboles and on my website: shaneward4.ca

Angelica HASBON ~ Candidate City Councilor

I live in Ward 4 with my family, and I love this community. I’m a university educator and researcher, with 10 years of training and background in politics, business, and social-economic policy design. I’ve been facilitating dialogue and building bridges between communities for over 20 years, in Canada, the USA, and Qatar. I am happy to help find common ground for resolving conflicts and overcoming challenges, and will roll up my sleeves to get things done. I’ve also worked in international trade, logistics, and professional accreditation. I know how to find and activate resources. I’m running for Ward 4 because I’m passionate about community-driven solutions and want to foster a culture of informed and empowered civic participants to sit at the table. Top-to-bottom governance frameworks aren’t working anymore; we need actual solutions that are supported by the community. It’s time for a new face and real change. angelica@angelicahasbon.ca – 289- 639-3182
