As we wrap up one year, I look forward to another. A New Year, with new adventures, and new possibilities. And we have a new challenge for everyone. It’s not really new but it is being reborn. The GALA team has always supported community engagement and resident led ideas and initiatives. What better way to do that than by bringing people together to share their hopes and dreams for the future of our community.
On February 4, 2023, we will meet at Powell Park Clubhouse to hold a GALA Community Planning Team meeting. We will invite everyone and ask our community partners to join in to share how they can be involved. If you’d like to join the team to organize the day, please contact me at brenda.duke@hotmail.com.
Beautiful Alleys will hold a meeting in January to discuss our plans for 2023. We need to discuss fundraising to pay for waste removal, additional supplies and look at developing sponsorships.
