Heritage Window Conservators

By Waler Furlan

It is refreshing to have the excitement and fresh thoughts that only our youth can bring forward. The students that attend our class hail from across North America. There are good things in the world and this is proof of that. The goal of these workshops is to bridge the gap between the architect and the carpenter and create welcoming spaces within the community –

Willowbank School of Restoration Arts, established in 2006, is a world-renowned school teaching heritage conservation at its highest level promoting traditional building, architecture, and urbanism.  Not only is heritage important to our built heritage and cultural landscapes but also important as an environmentally sustainable model. The greenest building is the one that already exists.

Walter is certified as a Heritage Conservation Specialist and Consultant, specifically with window conservation and working on heritage sites across the country.
