Happy New Year to all of our GALA neighbours and friends! We are looking forward to another year of building community and bringing people together but you need to tell us what YOU want.
Here are some starting points to consider:
- Monthly Meetings
- Continue the GALA Herald Community Newspaper
- Hold more events and which ones
- Easter
- Halloween
- Breakfast with Santa

Keep your fingers crossed! We’ve applied for a City Enrichment Fund grant so we can host other event throughout the year.
And, as posted, The GALA Herald is available online during the winter months. This will relieve our delivery volunteers of cold, icy weather and allow us time to look into ways to make the paper financially stable so we can go into print again in the spring.
