2024 Summer Reading Club
Blast into summer fun with HPL’s TD Summer Reading Club. Registration is open! Pick up an activity tracker, complete fun activities, and win stickers and prizes along the way. Get Ready For Kindergarten
Do you have kids going into kindergarten this fall? Bring them to the Library! HPL has Storytimes, telephone stories, reading collection lists, programs and activities to get them ready for their first day of school.
You can also register for our Get Ready for Kindergarten program online or in-branch. It is being offered at the following branches this summer:
Ancaster, Barton, Carlisle, Central Library, Dundas, Saltfleet, Terryberry, Turner Park, Waterdown, Binbrook, Red Hill, Kenilworth and Westdale
Summer Sundays
Stay cool and visit Central Library (12pm-5pm) and the Dundas, Red Hill, Terryberry, Turner Park and Waterdown Branches on Sundays from 1pm-5pm.
Hamilton Reads 2024 City-wide Book Club
Read the book, join the conversation. Chrysalis by local author Anuja Varghese, winner of the 2023 Governor General’s Literary Award is the 2024 Hamilton Reads title. Borrow the book and participate in library activities and programming over the coming months. Learn more at our website.
