The Herald is published by the Gibson and Landsdale Area (GALA) Community Planning Team. We distribute our papers to 6000 residences and businesses in the area between Wellington and Sherman and from Main Street to Birge at the CN Tracks north of Barton.

Our publication is run by and contributed to by community members. If you’d like to contribute please email galaherald@gmail.com

We rely on your ads to meet our costs. If you or someone you know would like to promote their business or service, please email galaheraldads@gmail.com

Support

Thank you for your interest in supporting your community newsletter. We hope that you will join us with a financial gift that will allow us to continue to keep the people and resources of the Gibson and Landsdale Area connected.

Our preferred method of donation is e-transfer, which you can send to galaherald@gmail.com

Volunteer

The GALA Herald relies on our volunteers to submit articles, promote ad sales, proof read, interview people and businesses and prepare the issue. We also depend on volunteers to deliver in the Gibson and Landsdale areas.

We support local businesses, the history of the area and we acknowledge the people and things that build community. We want to bring you that news and build a community that cares and we can be proud of.

We need to grow our volunteer base and we need you! No job is too small and all are welcome. Please indicate the area you are interested in, leave your contact information and we will get in touch.

You make it happen!
